About 53 million adults in the United States have doctor-diagnosed arthritis making it our nation’s most widespread health condition. That number is expected to balloon to more than 78 million by 2040. National Arthritis Month is observed every May to help spread the word about joint health, prevention, and treatment. At Ortho Rhode Island, we see firsthand the toll that arthritis can take on those affected.
