Sophie joined our team in 2019 after completing her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at New England Institute of Technology. She discovered her passion for hand therapy through clinical fieldwork at the Ortho Rhode Island Hand Therapy Clinic in Providence, where she gained experience in custom splinting, surgical and non-surgical patient care. Prior to obtaining her Master’s degree, Sophie worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant focused on the pediatric population in the school and hospital setting. Sophie has plans to obtain her certification in Hand Therapy and specialize in custom orthosis fabrication, overuse injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.
