BUFFALO, NEW YORK – Calspan Development & Construction recently celebrated another milestone in the 66,000 square foot construction project for Ortho Rhode Island. Many gathered to see the “topping off" ceremony held recently in Warwick, RI. This event, which is a construction tradition, is held to celebrate the placement of the final structural beam, marking the end of the structural phase and the beginning of another as the project continues. It serves as a celebration of the hard work put forth so far by all team members. “The topping off ceremony is a great opportunity to say thank you for the outstanding work done so far, and it also serves as a way to regroup and focus on the next phase of the project,” said John Yurtchuk, Chairman of Calspan Development & Construction, highlighting the significance of this tradition.
