HEALTH
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new Biologics service line at Ortho Rhode Island! Located within our new flagship building at 300 Crossings Blvd in Warwick, Ortho RI Biologics aims to provide our patients with the best service in the industry. Our Biologics suite, located on the first floor, boasts a spacious waiting area, welcoming consult room, and state-of-the-art procedure room.
Orthobiologics treatments use the body’s own tissues to augment the healing process, decrease pain, improve patient function, and modulate inflammation in areas of pain or injury. For many patients, biologics treatments offer a non-surgical option which works in conjunction with the body’s natural healing mechanisms to address the root cause of pain and may help patients avoid or delay the need for surgical intervention.
We offer a variety of office-based orthobiologic treatment options, including platelet rich plasma (PRP), bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC), adipose-derived cell therapy, alpha-2-macroglobulin, and amnion-derived cell therapy. In addition, Ortho RI Biologics offers a variety of surgical options that combine biologic therapies with innovative surgical procedures.
These treatments can be used to treat the pain and dysfunction caused by a variety of orthopedics issues, including:
• Osteoarthritis
• Tendon injuries, including rotator cuff tears, biceps tendinopathy, tennis elbow, patellar tendinitis/tendinopathy
• Plantar fasciitis
• Bursitis
• Labral tears of the hip and shoulder
• Meniscus tears
• Cartilage and osteochondral lesions
Ortho RI Biologics physicians ensure that our practices are responsible and regulated, and that our patients are offered accurate information about biologics therapies, extensively researched biologic treatment options, and fair prices.
