The team at the Ortho RI Surgery Center has developed a new initiative to give teddy bears to pediatric patients when they leave the operating room and enter the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Once these new teddy bears find their way into the arms of patients recovering in the PACU, they’ll anxiously await discharge to their forever homes with their new families!
Ortho Rhode Island is dedicated to caring for a range of patients, from children to seniors, and parents of pediatric patients are thrilled that their providers go out of their way to make even the smallest patients feel welcome!
