Courtney Wagner treats patients with a wide range of general orthopedic issues, working both in the office and assisting in the operating room, with specialized interest and training in sports-related injuries. Courtney also specializes in injection therapies, total joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, and managing osteoarthritis, and is excited by the continual development of new technologies and surgical techniques to help patients.
A native of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Courtney received her undergraduate degree in Health and Wellness with a minor in Athletic Coaching from The State University of New York College at Buffalo in 2007. She completed a Master of Science in Athletic Training at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in 2009 and then served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Courtney completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program at Northeastern University in 2013. She has also served as a clinical preceptor for Physician Assistant students from Bryant University and King’s College. Prior to moving back to New England in 2018, Courtney began her career at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Orthopaedics Institute in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania specializing in total joint replacement, sports medicine, and trauma surgery.
When she’s not working with patients, Courtney is an avid ice hockey player and enjoys camping, hiking, and whitewater rafting.
