JONATHON SHAPIRO, PA-C

With 11 years of experience as a PA in emergency medicine, Jonathon brings a strong background in patient care to his work at Ortho Rhode Island. A member of the AAPA and the RIAPA, Jonathon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Providence College, and Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Orthopedics was a natural fit for Jonathon, as he’d always been interested in the field. He became a PA to help people, and his work at Ortho Rhode Island enables him to help patients return to doing what matters most to them in their daily lives.

When he’s not working with patients, Jonathon enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, going to the gym, reading, and catching up on good TV. He is an avid hockey and sports fan.
