Focusing on the treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, Shelby provides therapies that include custom orthosis fabrication, splinting, postoperative rehabilitation, and non-surgical interventions. She is dedicated to helping her patients regain function and independence, utilizing a combination of manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.

Shelby discovered her passion for hand therapy during her Level II fieldwork at Ortho Rhode Island, where she gained hands-on experience in splinting, upper extremity rehabilitation, and conservative treatment approaches. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, she worked extensively as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), treating a wide range of diagnoses in pediatric and adult populations across school and outpatient settings.

Shelby earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from New England Institute of Technology in 2024, after completing an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from the same institution in 2021. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Disabilities Studies from Springfield College (2016). She is committed to ongoing professional development and intends to pursue certification as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

When she’s not working with patients, Shelby enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and exercising.
