At OrthoNowRI, Blackstone Orthopedic's after hours service, we provide immediate care for orthopedic injuries –including sprains, fractures, and back strains. For work accidents and sports injuries, we are here to offer you care with no appointment necessary.
A Better Alternative
When you sustain an orthopedic injury after hours, usually your only option is the emergency room. In fact, an estimated 65 percent of ER visits aren’t even emergencies. Unfortunately though, this is hardly an ideal solution. A visit to the emergency room is costly –the average emergency room visit now costs 40 percent more than an average month's rent. The increasing cost of emergency treatment also increases your co-pay amount –the part of the expense that your insurer will require you to pay.
Additionally, a visit to the emergency room often involves a long wait time. With an injury, this can be uncomfortable and painful. For minor injuries –emergency care shouldn’t be the only option!
It is important to note if you have a serious injury such as a fracture or head trauma, you should go to the nearest emergency room. OrthoNowRI is NOT for chronic orthopedic problems.
After Hours Care
