Dr. Peter Pizzarello, Jr. obtained his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, and then completed his orthopedic residency at the Tufts Combined Orthopedic Residency. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship at Tufts Sports Medicine Fellowship through New England Baptist Hospital and Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Massachusetts. During this time, he learned advanced arthroscopic skills and gained experience caring for athletes while assisting the head physician of the Boston College football program.

Dr. Pizzarello is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who performs general orthopedic surgery, specializing in treating the hip, knee and shoulder joints, including arthroscopy and robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement with Mako.

Outside of his time working with patients, Dr. Pizzarello enjoys photography, cooking, and playing piano and guitar. He also engages in and coaches sports with kids, particularly with his two children.
